Claudia O'Sullivan Drama Tutor, Ennis
Claudia is a drama teacher/choreographer from Athlone based in Galway city.Claudia teaches drama and dance in the Midlands, Galway, Mayo and Clare and has a B.A. in English and Classical studies and an M.A. in Drama and Theatre Studies from NUI Galway. Claudia has worked with the celebrated Blue Teapot Theatre Company in Galway which works with adults with intellectual disabilities and stage managed their 2012 production of SANCTUARY which was a part of the GalwayTheatre Festival.
Claudia has been the drama coach for StageSchool Ireland’s Ennis centre since 2017 and took part in the Junior Theatre Celebration hosted by MTI Europe in 2018 in Leicester and 2019 in Birmingham where we brought a group of students to compete against other schools with a ten-minute musical.
Claudia worked as the choreographer for Teenage Stage International Summer School in Kildare in 2019 and choreographed their production of Legally Blonde JR which went from page to stage in just one week.
Claudia has written and directed an original radio play “Dare to Dream” with RTE JR that was voiced by her extremely talented Ennis students which aired in July 2021.Claudia and her Irish teammates won 1 st place in the Street TheatreCompetition at the European Peoples Festival 2022 in Luxembourg with a piece she wrote/directed and starred in. Recently credits include choreography 9 TO 5 with Claremorris Musical Society and ALL SHOOK UP with Castlebar Musical Society. Claudia is delighted to be a part of the StageSchool Ireland team and absolutely loves her Friday evenings working with all the wonderfully talented Ennis students!
